Parenting influencer Emilie Kiser’s 3-year-old son, Trigg, died from an anoxic brain injury caused by drowning, according to a medical examiner’s report released more than a year after the child’s devastating death.
Trigg passed away several days after he slipped into the family’s unfenced swimming pool in Arizona in May 2025, while Kiser’s husband, Brady, was home with the couple’s two young children.
The Maricopa County medical examiner ruled the toddler’s death an accident in a report made public Tuesday, People magazine reported.
Brady told investigators that he briefly lost track of Trigg after the boy went outside following dinner, explaining that he had been distracted inside the home while caring for the couple’s 5-week-old baby.

Authorities said Trigg was out of sight for nearly 10 minutes and was believed to have been in the pool for roughly seven minutes before he was pulled from the water.
He died on May 18, 2025 — six days later.
Kiser has since revealed that she has forgiven her husband.
