Jack’s Pumpkin Pop-Up

Duration: From September 18 to November 2
Location: 1265 West Le Moyne St., Chicago, IL 60642
Activities: Enjoy a variety of carnival games, seasonal drinks, axe throwing, a corn maze, and more!
Admission: Pricing for the 2025 season isn’t available yet, though children 4 and under can enter for free with a paying adult.

Night of 1,000 Jack-o’-Lanterns at Chicago Botanic Garden

Duration: Every Wednesday through Sunday from October 8 to October 26.
Location: 1000 Lake Cook Road, Glencoe, IL 60022
Activities: Experience illuminated pumpkin displays celebrating Chicago sports teams, mythical plant creatures, legendary vampires, and more!
Admission: Tickets begin at $22 for members, and $25 for the public; children aged 2 and younger enter for free.

Tobie Family Farm in Grayslake

Duration: From September 13 to October 31.
Location: 22070 W Peterson Road, Grayslake, IL 60030
Activities: Visit a pumpkin patch, enjoy hayrides, explore a sprawling corn maze, and let the kids bounce around in a bounce house!
Admission: Adult tickets are priced at $7, while tickets for children aged 3 to 12 are $6, and children 2 and under enter free.

Goebbert’s Farm’s Fall Festival

Duration: From September 6 to October 31.

Brookfield Zoo Chicago

When: Multiple fall events from September through November.
Where: 8400 31st St, Brookfield, IL 60513
What: Oktoberfest, Boot! at the Zoo, Boo! Brunch, Zoo After Dark: BOOs & Brews, Community Ofrenda for Día de los Muertos.
Cost: Most events are free with a general admission ticket, which start at $29.95.

Harry Potter: A Forbidden Forest Experience

When: Oct. 3 through Nov. 2.
Where: YMCA Camp Duncan, 32405 N. US Hwy. 12, Ingleside
What: Outdoor trail inspired by the Forbidden Forest from the “Harry Potter” movie saga.
Cost: Tickets start $44 for adults and $31 for children.

Six Flags Fright Fest 2025
