A rising star in Georgia Republican politics is facing explosive allegations after a child predator sting video surfaced online, appearing to show newly elected Georgia GOP assistant secretary JaQuon Stembridge attempting to meet someone he believed was a 14-year-old boy.
An alarming development has emerged as Jaquon Stembridge, a prominent figure in Georgia’s Republican circles, is embroiled in a scandal. Stembridge, known for his leadership roles as chair of the Georgia Teen Republicans and a member of the Georgia Young Republicans, was reportedly implicated in a child sex predator sting operation. Allegations suggest he attempted to arrange a meeting with a 14-year-old boy. The surfacing of confrontation videos and chat logs has stirred concerns regarding the vetting and leadership within the state’s youth outreach efforts.
Chat logs allegedly associated with the sting detail explicit plans for a meeting. In one exchange, a sender identified as Stembridge expresses reluctance to risk exposure, writing, “Oh I can’t risk getting exposed lol,” and adds, “I’d rather show in person,” before confirming, “I’m free today.” The decoy replies, “I’m free rn til 7pm,” and later adds, “Ok daddy. When nd where.”
He was celebrated for energizing high school and college Republicans and for symbolizing a younger, more diverse GOP bench. That carefully crafted image is now colliding with footage that appears to show the young official cornered by a predator-hunter style activist in a parking lot.
In the video, the man identified as Stembridge repeatedly insists he is underage when confronted. Asked if he is 19 or 17, he says, “I’m 17, I swear to God. I don’t want my mom to know,” and later pleads, “God, I’m only 17. Please.”
He claims he has no identification, telling the cameraman, “I don’t have it, like look, check my pockets. You can do whatever you want.” The hunter presses him to tell the truth, saying, “If you’re 19, just say it. You’ll get way more respect from being honest.”

Screenshots of alleged text exchanges tied to the sting show explicit planning for a meetup. In one sequence, a sender labeled as Stembridge writes, “Oh I can’t risk getting exposed lol,” and, “I’d rather show in person,” before confirming, “I’m free today.” The decoy responds, “I’m free rn til 7pm,” later adding, “Ok daddy. When nd where.”
In another screenshot, the decoy states, “Ok well im turnin 15 next month,” to which Stembridge allegedly replies “Ok” and asks, “How would we link then lol,” before sending his location as “Atlas Athens,” an apparent reference to a site in Athens, Georgia.
As of now, AF Post and allied accounts say the sting involved a decoy posing as a young teen boy, and they describe the interaction as a “child sex predator” operation, but there has been no public confirmation yet of criminal charges or an arrest linked to the footage.
The Georgia GOP, Georgia Teen Republicans, and Georgia Young Republicans have not issued formal statements in the material provided, and Stembridge’s social media accounts remained locked or inactive when activists began circulating the video.
Stembridge sits on the Georgia GOP’s executive committee, leads a high school–focused Teen Republicans organization, and has positioned himself as a mentor for underage activists in party politics. If these chat logs and videos are authenticated by law enforcement, the party could face a major scandal over supervision, safeguarding and background checks for officials placed in direct contact with minors.
