Israel condemns Iran for recruiting terrorists through UK embassy, says regime 'exploits diplomacy to spread violence'

Israel Accuses Iran of Using UK Embassy to Orchestrate Terrorism: A Diplomatic Deception Unveiled

The Israeli Foreign Ministry has issued a condemnation against Iran, following reports that suggest the Iranian government initiated a campaign to recruit terrorists via its embassy in the United Kingdom.

In a statement shared on the platform X, the ministry asserted, “Diplomatic immunity should not be a shield for terrorist activities. It’s imperative to take action against such missions when a regime uses diplomacy as a front for spreading violence.”

The Daily Mail has reported that Iran’s Embassy in London has been reaching out to “all brave and noble children of Iran” living in the UK, urging them to participate in an official “martyrdom” initiative.

The British publication detailed that consulate officials released a call to action, inviting “proud Iranian compatriots residing in Britain” to join their “Jan Fada” program, which translates to “sacrificing life.”

This message appeared in Farsi on the embassy’s official Telegram channel.

“Let us all, to a man, give our bodies to be slain; for it is better than giving our country to the enemy,” the post further said.

Roger Macmillan, former director of security at Iran International, a UK-based news outlet opposed to the regime, told the Daily Mail: “It is horrific the fact that this is on UK soil.

“This is an attempt at radicalization online of people who could be persuaded by the regime to commit acts in support of the Islamic Republic in the UK.”

Nadeh Fallah of the Iranian Human Rights & Allies group warned that Britain must proscribe the Islamic Revolutionary Guards Corp (IRGC), which is “actively seeking to radicalize, recruit and exert influence on British soil.”

UK Prime Minister Keir Starmer said last week that legislation to proscribe the IRGC would be introduced in the next session of parliament.
