A Henderson, Nevada, judge set bail at $500,000 on Wednesday for Allison Howlett, a male transitioning to female who is accused of preparing for a potential mass shooting.
According to KSNV, Allison is married to Julie Howlett. Police said both Allison and Julie are “transitioning to female and are taking estrogen and progesterone.”
8NewsNow reported that Allison was taken into custody Saturday after allegedly refusing to get out of her vehicle while armed with several firearms inside the Sunset Station parking garage.

Julie told officers that Allison had allegedly made threats, including references to “suicide by cop,” and claimed Allison had stolen her vehicle. She also alleged that Howlett would often put on body armor, pick up a rifle, and ask to be taken to a homeless shelter, suggesting an intent to shoot homeless people.
Henderson Police Chief Reggie Rader said officers discovered “at least 22 firearms” in the vehicle Allison was driving, including “a handgun in the driver’s seat and a rifle in the backseat.”
FOX 5 Vegan also reported that police recovered “hundreds of rounds of ammunition from the vehicle.”
