A TV make-up artist who worked with stars at outlets such as Newsmax has allegedly been shot dead by her son inside their home.

Tributes have poured in for Travis Renee Baldwin, 57, after she was identified as the victim of a shooting at an apartment complex on Sunday.

Her son Logan Chrisinger, 27, has been charged with her murder.

Just hours before the incident, Chrisinger contacted his mother, prompting her immediate visit to his Arlington, Virginia, apartment early Sunday morning, as shared by her brother, John.

It appears Baldwin, a former ESPN makeup artist, remained discreet about the purpose of her visit to her son, John told Fox affiliate WTTG-TV.

“She didn’t tell me why, but from what I understand, from what I could tell, I knew there was something going on,” he added.

Cops launched a homicide probe after Baldwin died.

She was rushed to the hospital but died of her injuries.

Police have not yet revealed a motive.

Greta Van Susteren, a former Fox News, CNN, and MSNBC star, has led the tributes to Baldwin.

She anchors the daily show The Record, which airs at 6pm ET.

In an X post, she recalled how she and Baldwin had been colleagues for three-and-a-half years at Newsmax.

“She did my make up Friday for the show and of course I never dreamed that would be the last time I would see her,” Van Susteren said.

Marisela Ramirez, Newsmax’s White House producer, said Baldwin had a “giving heart.”

“Renee was known for her generous heart and free-spirited nature, yet she was quietly strong, supporting her family while managing household responsibilities — without any complaints,” she shared on social media.

Former Newsmax staffer Amber Duke, now a senior editor at Daily Caller, was left shocked by Baldwin’s death.

Baldwin had done Duke’s makeup for around one-and-a-half years.

TRIBUTES POUR IN

“She was a kind, generous, funny woman who always brightened the day of anyone who sat in her chair,” Duke wrote on X.

“Fridays at Newsmax were something I always anticipated because it meant we could chat, share upcoming travel plans, talk about our pets, and discuss any good wines we were enjoying. She will be dearly missed.”

Duke shared a throwback photo of the pair pulling faces.

“She’d probably be so mad I’m sharing this photo. RIP Renee,” she said.

Virginia Allen, a news producer at Daily Signal, described Baldwin as someone who was “honest, loving and talented.”

“Newsmax will never feel the same without her,” she wrote on X.

Baldwin’s family said she loved to work and travel.

Chrisinger has been charged with first-degree murder.

He has also been charged with aggravated malicious wounding, and use of a firearm to commit a felony.

He is holed up at the Arlington County Detention Facility and is being held without bond.
