Repeat Deportees Busted in Vegas: Two Mexican Men Charged With Illegal Re-Entry

In a significant development, two Mexican nationals with a history of repeated illegal entries into the United States have been apprehended in Las Vegas, Nevada. Jesus Guadalupe-Rosales and Daniel Augusto Lopez-Conchas, who collectively have been deported nine times, are now facing federal charges for illegal re-entry.

Their arrests highlight a pattern of criminal behavior:

These proceedings signal a step forward in addressing the challenges posed by individuals who repeatedly violate immigration laws. While debates continue around sanctuary jurisdictions and differing political views, the actions of these individuals underscore the importance of enforcing immigration laws. A potential lengthy prison sentence followed by deportation might serve as a deterrent, though it remains uncertain if it will prevent future attempts.

For the time being, their removal from both American and Mexican streets is a positive outcome for communities on both sides of the border.

This case illustrates a broader issue: while many immigrants seek a better life, there are those who repeatedly enter the U.S. to commit crimes. This reality underscores the efforts of Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) and border security operations, emphasizing the need for robust enforcement of immigration laws to ensure safety and order.

And:

Lopez-Conchas has been deported three times. He was arrested by Metro police on March 29, 2024, on charges of selling/transporting a controlled substance, two counts of trafficking controlled substances, and conspiracy to violate the Uniform Controlled Substances Act. On April 3, 2026, he was turned over to ICE in Las Vegas after serving a 24-to-72-month sentence for trafficking a controlled substance.

All this is good news, of course. No matter what the proponents of sanctuary jurisdictions and Democrats (but I repeat myself) think, there’s simply no place for people like this in the United States. These are bad people, and maybe a long stint in federal prison followed by a trip back to Mexico will convince them to stay where they belong; although, with two goblins like this, it’s questionable whether or not they are capable of absorbing that lesson.

But at least, if convicted, they will be off American streets for a while, and off Mexican streets, for that matter. That’s a good thing.

This arrest points out one thing very plainly: For every illegal immigrant mom and kids crossing into the United States touted by the left as “looking for a better life,” insisting we should welcome them even though they snuck in illegally, there are also illegal immigrants like these two. These two came into the United States illegally, not once but several times, and they did so planning to engage in criminal activity. That’s why ICE is in the streets. That’s why deportation efforts are underway. That’s why our border is now closed.

And, yes, we should deport them all. Everyone who crossed the border illegally during the four years of the Biden administration’s non-enforcement of immigration law goes back, regardless of their intent in coming here or their history since they snuck in.
