Long Island Exotic Dancer Sues Doctor Over Restraining Order After Alleged Affair Disclosure to Wife

A Long Island exotic dancer has filed a lawsuit against a wealthy married physician, claiming he promised to leave his wife and build a future with her — then turned to the courts for a restraining order after she revealed their alleged relationship to his spouse.

Rosnana Kissoon, 39, alleges that Dr. Keith Hoerning, 51, tried to have her arrested after their purported 18-month affair unraveled earlier this year, according to a complaint filed in Suffolk County Supreme Court.

Kissoon is seeking damages that could top $1 million. Hoerning, a family physician and father of two, has rejected her claims, characterizing the case as a cold-blooded extortion attempt tied to alleged threats against his family.

“This is an issue that I have run across several times. A man makes an error and is blackmailed. This stripper is different because she had the audacity to file a lawsuit, pushing the blackmail to another level,” his attorney, Bruce Barket, told the Daily Mail.

In her filing, Kissoon accuses Hoerning, who resides in a $900,000 home in Greenlawn, Suffolk County, of initiating the affair and assuring her they would start a new life together. She claims he retaliated with legal action after she informed his 34-year-old wife, Nicole, about the alleged affair.

“It’s not just that she thought she was going to have a better life. She found out she wasn’t going to have that, and then Keith brought the whole legal system and judicial and police force on her,” Kissoon’s attorney, Michael Treanor, told the Daily Mail.

Treanor said his client “has done nothing wrong but have a relationship with Mr. Hoerning,” and argued the legal fallout has been severe — costing Kissoon her day job at a healthcare facility, pushing her into counseling and leaving her emotionally shaken.

According to the complaint, the alleged relationship began in late 2024 after Dr. Hoerning introduced himself to Kissoon at a Long Island strip club and then began repeatedly contacting her through calls and text messages.

It allegedly turned intimate in February 2025, and by late October, the pair were allegedly seeing each other multiple times a week and communicating every day, according to the filings.

In messages, Hoerning allegedly told Kissoon, “I love you,” “I will give you what you want,” and “I will find a way,” while also sending her money, according to the complaint.

“He had made promises to her that he was leaving her, and that they would have a happy life together,” Treanor said.

But on May 15, 2026, Kissoon was allegedly sent a cease-and-desist letter by Hoerning’s lawyer, demanding she stop contacting him and his family, and threatening her with federal criminal prosecution if she didn’t destroy evidence of their relationship.

Despite that, on May 17, Hoerning allegedly resumed contact with Kissoon, sending her a personal family photograph over WhatsApp, the complaint alleges.

On May 24, he allegedly messaged her again, writing “So hot! See u soon,” and “Miss u already,” according to the complaint.

Two days later, Kissoon called Hoerning’s wife to tell her about the alleged affair.

The following evening, Hoerning allegedly went to a Suffolk County police precinct, demanding to have Kissoon arrested.

The doctor claimed that Kissoon threatened to hire “goons” to “beat” him and his family and even “rip [his] wife’s … face off,” according to a sworn petition filed last month.

Kissoon is now seeking damages that could exceed $1 million as part of a lawsuit that accuses Hoerning and his wife of mounting a coordinated campaign against her after she exposed the alleged affair.

The Hoernings’ attorney claimed the lawsuit is “filled with lies,” and said the couple has text messages and voice recordings to prove that this was an extortion plot.
