(NewsNation) — A Florida man who posed as a flight attendant for four different airlines booked 120 free flights over six years.

The U.S. Attorney for the Southern District of Florida announced that between 2018 and 2024, 35-year-old Tiron Alexander impersonated a flight attendant for several airlines. He used internal airline websites meant for crew members to secure free flights, taking advantage of employee benefits.

On June 5, Alexander was found guilty of wire fraud and of entering secured airport zones under false pretenses. The court documents mention airlines such as Southwest Airlines, American Airlines, and Delta Air Lines.

Alexander managed to take 34 flights with one airline by impersonating a flight attendant or staff member, utilizing 30 different badge numbers and employment dates to obtain these complimentary flights. Moreover, he also posed as a flight attendant with three additional airlines to book further flights.

Alexander is scheduled to be sentenced August 25. The maximum sentence for wire fraud is 20 years and 10 years for the charge of entering secure airport areas under false pretenses.
