911 call released in NJ therapist’s killing after husband found body
Authorities have made public a harrowing 911 call placed by Conor Hanlon, whose wife, therapist Brooke Hanlon, was killed in a New Jersey stabbing case. In the recording, Hanlon can be heard desperately seeking help after discovering his wife on the second floor of their home, unresponsive and bleeding. Investigators have not identified any suspects, and a $1,000 reward is being offered for tips that could help move the case forward.
Questions are also mounting in Missouri, where the unexplained death of a nurse married to a well-known anesthesiologist remains under investigation.
Alexandra “Allie” Hummel, 36, was discovered unresponsive inside her home on Lone Cedar Trail in New London on June 23 after authorities were called to the residence following a 911 report.
According to the Ralls County Sheriff’s Office, the county coroner requested an autopsy as part of the inquiry into Hummel’s death.

Public records show Hummel was licensed to work as a nurse in Missouri. Her husband, Dr. Andrew Hummel, is listed as a licensed anesthesiologist.
INC News reached out to Hummel’s husband, but he declined to comment on the ongoing investigation.

Court records reveal in March 2026 he pleaded guilty to assaulting a woman. He was first arrested in July 2025 on charges of strangling and striking a woman of whom he was “in a continuing relationship of romantic nature” in the face.

Dr. Hummel is currently self-employed at Northern Ozark Anesthesia Solutions, his own LLC, according to LinkedIn.
