Woman on motorcycle plows through NYC park, mowing down 9 pedestrians in her path

Ten people were hurt Sunday after a woman riding a three-wheeled motorcycle veered into a Brooklyn park and struck multiple pedestrians, authorities said.

The driver of the Can-Am trike allegedly lost control near Commodore Barry Park in Fort Greene at about 6:40 p.m., crashing into the park and hitting nine people, according to the NYPD.

Emergency crews responded to the scene near Flushing Avenue and Navy Street, where the nine pedestrians and the motorcycle operator were taken to area hospitals, police said.

Four of the injured were listed in critical but stable condition, while the other six were reported to be in stable condition, authorities said.

Images from the aftermath showed debris scattered around the three-wheeler as police officers and stunned witnesses gathered near the crash site.

The frightening incident unfolded as Pride celebrations were taking place in several areas across New York City, including at parks.

No arrests have been made, and police said the investigation is continuing.
