HOLLYWOOD, LOS ANGELES — Oscar and Emmy-nominated actress Naomi Watts is the latest star to be inducted onto the Hollywood Walk of Fame.

She received her star on the Walk of Fame on Monday.

Naomi Watts has enjoyed a 25-year career, starting with her standout role in David Lynch’s cult classic “Mulholland Drive” and leading to her latest collaborations with writer-producer Ryan Murphy.

Watts celebrated her star being added to the Hollywood Walk of Fame with Ryan Murphy by her side, along with her husband Billy Crudup and a host of her past and present co-stars like Jack Black, Kyle MacLachlan, Sarah Paulson, and Niecy Nash.

Watts said the whole Walk of Fame experience was beyond her wildest dreams.

Reflecting on the honor, Watts expressed, “I’m feeling out of body right now, but I know I’ll look back on this moment, even tonight, with incredible pride and joy. There was a lot going into it; it’s surreal yet a reward for hard work and perseverance.” She admitted, “I nearly quit many times. I just wasn’t sure what else I could do, and I love acting. It’s a privilege to tell stories.”

Edward Norton, a fellow actor, chimed in, “You will never have more fun making a film with Naomi. She has the perfect blend of talent and humility. She’s stilettos on the red carpet and sneakers during rehearsals.”

Ryan Murphy remarked, “A star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame is one of the industry’s highest honors. It’s akin to an everlasting award. This prestigious accolade is reserved for those who endure.”

Next month, Watts is set to appear in Murphy’s upcoming Hulu series “All’s Fair,” which features an all-star cast. She plays one of the female divorce attorneys who decide to break away from a male-run office to establish their own firm.

The Walt Disney Company is the parent company of Hulu and this ABC station.
