911 call released in NJ therapist’s killing
WARNING, GRAPHIC CONTENT: Authorities have released the harrowing 911 call placed by Conor Hanlon, the husband of therapist Brooke Hanlon, after he discovered her fatally stabbed inside their New Jersey home. The recording captures his panic and anguish in the moments after the discovery.
Months after 35-year-old Brooke Hanlon was found stabbed to death in her family’s Chester home, neighbors say they have seen her husband returning to the New Jersey property.
Conor Hanlon, 36, has reportedly been making weekly visits to the Chester, New Jersey, residence, often arriving for stretches from Thursday into Friday, according to neighbors. Several said they have noticed his white Volvo SUV parked in the driveway.
Brooke Hanlon was discovered dead inside the home on June 6. The Morris County Prosecutor’s Office is investigating her death as a homicide, and authorities have not publicly identified a suspect or person of interest.

Neighbors said they have also seen Hanlon doing yard work outside the Pottersville Road property during those visits. They told News Outlet that while his vehicle has been seen outside the home during the day, the white SUV has not been observed parked in the driveway overnight.

On Friday, Hanlon addressed his wife’s killing publicly for the first time, denying any involvement. He declined to comment further, citing the active investigation.
“My heart is totally shattered,” he told the Daily Mail. A reporter asked him if he had any involvement in his wife’s death, to which he said, “Of course not.” He went on to say, “It’s a tragedy.”

Neighbors tell News Outlet they remain on edge as law enforcement has yet to release any update in the case.
One of them said about three weeks before the young mother was discovered dead inside her home in early June, local police showed up knocking on doors to “check in” with residents on Pottersville Road after they reportedly told them a “911 call was made in the area.”

She confirmed to News Outlet that the police showed up to her door asking if “everything was OK” between 9:30 and 10 that night.
She lives next door to the Hanlons.

In July, one gun-owning neighbor told News Outlet he’s ready to defend his family should the time come. He said he has been looking over his shoulder more frequently, knowing a possible killer is still at large.

Conor Hanlon has not been charged with any crime or accused of wrongdoing.
