Floor collapse at New Hampshire wedding venue leaves 6 injured, investigation underway

At least six individuals sustained injuries on Saturday following a reported floor collapse at a wedding venue in New Hampshire. The incident took place at The Preserve at Chocorua, located in Tamworth, prompting an investigation by the New Hampshire State Fire Marshal’s Office.

Fortunately, all injuries were deemed non-life-threatening, and the affected individuals were transported to nearby hospitals for medical attention. The office of the fire marshal confirmed there were no fatalities resulting from the incident.

A significant response was initiated, with multiple fire departments arriving at the venue to manage the situation. As a precautionary measure, local authorities temporarily closed the road leading to The Preserve at Chocorua, as reported by the Tamworth Police Department.

Images of the venue, including a street sign, are available on platforms such as Google Maps, highlighting its location and significance as a wedding destination in the region.
