Be advised, some footage regarding the incident may be distressing.

Bond suffered critical injuries, sustaining severe burns on her face, chest, and torso, which have required multiple skin grafts and surgeries, with more procedures anticipated.

The legal action contends that the injuries were a result of an employee pouring alcohol onto a fire.

This unfortunate event was documented by a security camera, which captured the incident as it unfolded.

The fire started at a food station to roast marshmallows for s’mores at a private event, according to the complaint filed by Cavanagh Sorich Law Group.

People were gathered around the station, attorneys say, and that’s when a restaurant employee poured some combustible accelerant on the open flame, causing an immediate and dangerous “flashover.”

Flames shot into the air and set some of the plaintiffs on fire.

Attorneys allege the restaurant’s negligence caused the fire, filing four lawsuits on behalf of five plaintiffs Wednesday.

ABC7 Chicago reached out to Maverick Hotels and Restaurants for a comment but has yet to hear back.

At the time of the incident, Maverick Hotels and Restaurants said in a statement, “Our hearts are with the three individuals injured last night and we are staying closely connected to their status. As this is an active investigation, we are unable to provide specifics at this time. We are immensely grateful for the quick response of Emergency Medical Services, Chicago Police Department, Management and nearby guests. The safety and well-being of our guests & employees remain our highest priority, and we will continue reviewing our safety protocols.”
