Dramatic highway video captured the moment an Ohio shoplifting suspect jumped onto a woman’s car as she drove along the interstate while he was allegedly trying to get away from police.
Miami Township police pulled over two Ohio men on July 27 after they were accused of stealing from a Kroger, according to WKRC. During the stop, one of the men, later identified as Kaamil O’Berry, got out of the vehicle and ran.
Video showed the suspect crossing an on-ramp to I-75 as officers pursued him.

As O’Berry allegedly continued his escape, he ran onto the interstate and jumped onto the hood of a woman’s car as she kept driving.

The suspect held onto the hood until both he and the vehicle moved out of the highway camera’s view. Authorities said he allegedly tried to take control of the car and broke the woman’s windshield during the encounter.
O’Berry eventually fell from the windshield and was taken into custody. He was then transported to a nearby hospital, the report said.

O’Berry was arrested on charges of obstructing official business, theft and aggravated robbery.
David Sutter, who was in the car with O’Berry, was charged with complicity to theft.
