A video has emerged showing the scene following a plane accident at Kalispell City Airport in Montana on Monday. Astonishingly, the pilot and the three passengers involved survived without major injuries.
According to Kalispell Fire Department Chief Jay Hagen, emergency services were alerted just after 2 p.m. after the crash was reported, as communicated to Fox News Digital.
Investigations revealed that the incident occurred as a small aircraft was attempting to land and ended up colliding with another plane. Both planes caught fire as a result of the impact.
Hagen said the three passengers and pilot on board the plane that crashed were able to get out of the aircraft with minor injuries.
Four individuals sustained only minor injuries after the crash caused their plane to strike another, resulting in both catching fire in Kalispell, Montana, on August 11, 2025.
Firefighters from Evergreen, Smith Valley and Whitefish assisted Kalispell crews in dousing flames that spread to adjacent grass.
According to Hagen, the quick mutual‑aid response allowed firefighters to smother the blaze with foam within minutes.
By 4:30 p.m., all crew members had left the scene, he added.
The cause of the crash is currently under investigation.
