On Saturday evening, a troubling instance of left-wing violence unfolded when a shooter targeted a New Hampshire country club. Reports indicate that at least one person lost their life, and others were injured amid the chaos as attendees scrambled for safety.

The shooter allegedly yelled “Free Palestine” during the attack.

NASHUA, NH — Nashua police have one person in custody after a shooting at the Sky Meadow Country Club in Nashua on Saturday night.

Numerous law enforcement and emergency agencies responded to the incident. A Bearcat transported at least three individuals to the Southern New Hampshire Medical Center, with one man reportedly suffering a gunshot wound to the face. The gunman entered the country club during an event, and as guests dined at Prime Restaurant, shooting ensued. Witnesses noted that one of the assailants shouted, “Free Palestine,” before firing at those present.

A designated area for treating the injured was established at Spit Brook Fire Station and East Dunstable Road. An array of nine ambulances promptly gathered at the location, with assistance from several Massachusetts State Police officers since a portion of the club is situated within Massachusetts.

Remarkably, an onlooker intervened by striking the assailant with a chair, effectively reducing potential harm. Police swiftly conducted an arrest, assuring the public that the threat had been neutralized.

We are still waiting on more details as far as narrowing down who exactly was targeted. The location seems oddly specific. A country club isn’t the type of place a shooter wanders into randomly. It seems probable that the location was selected with intent. What we don’t know is if there was a specific target at the country club, or if the shooting was meant to target whoever was in the way at that point. Some have speculated that a Jewish wedding was occurring, which would make sense given the antisemitic connotations of shouting, “Free Palestine,” but that has not been confirmed.

A press conference is scheduled to happen within minutes of this article’s publication. Hopefully, more information will be shared at that point that sheds more light on the situation.

This is a developing story. RedState will provide updates as necessary.
