Police say that the man was already imprisoned for prior charges before being connected to the crime.

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. — The Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office reported on Sunday the second arrest linked to a deadly shooting that occurred in April on Jacksonville’s westside.

On April 15, 2025, JSO states that officers were called to a shooting incident on Ernest St. near McDuff Ave., where they discovered the victim, Christopher Cam, 33, suffering from multiple gunshot injuries. The Medical Examiner’s Office classified Cam’s death as a homicide, according to JSO.

JSO reports that Bradley Drew, 33, who was already incarcerated on unrelated charges, was arrested by detectives in connection to the murder. The JSO inmate portal indicates that Drew was detained and charged with grand theft in May 2025.

The first suspect, Brandon Engeloff, 32, was arrested in August 2025 after “months of reviewing evidence and examining details,” according to JSO.
