Horrific video shows the moment suspected gangster kills tourist with single karate chop

A chilling video has surfaced showing the shocking moment a suspected criminal fatally strikes a tourist with a single karate chop amidst a road rage dispute in Thailand.

The 57-year-old victim, a father from Liverpool, England, was riding a rented scooter through the bustling streets of Phuket, a well-known Thai holiday destination, when an altercation ensued with Pektas Tuguy Tayyar, aged 29, on Wednesday, as reported by ViralPress.

Footage captures a woman attempting to restrain a furious Tayyar, who is reportedly associated with a Swedish crime syndicate, according to Sweden’s Expressen newspaper.

In a sudden move, Tayyar delivers a karate chop to the victim’s neck, causing the man’s sunglasses to fly off as he collapses to the ground.

The woman—believed to be Tayyar’s partner—kneels beside the fallen victim while the assailant casually walks away.

The victim, a dual UK-Australian citizen, was rushed to a hospital with severe head injuries and pronounced dead that day.

The fight reportedly broke out when one of the two riders cut in front of the other, but escalated in minutes with the pair squaring up in a nearby alley.

Tayyar was arrested at around 4 a.m. Thursday, with a picture showing him in ciustody in front of six arresting officers.

He is a Turkish national, according the Bangkok Post.

He was denied bail and is being held during ongoing investigations, the reports said.
