Yuvrajjit Gill, the individual in question, was deemed guilty by a jury on various charges, including armed false imprisonment, aggravated assault with a firearm, improper exhibition of a firearm, domestic violence battery, battery, and witness tampering.
The disturbing events unfolded on May 2, 2025, when Gill allegedly threatened his wife with a firearm, forcibly taking her to the master bedroom of their home. There, he subjected her to a brutal attack, hitting her with both his fists and a shoe, according to the State Attorney’s Office.
The couple’s son, upon entering the room during the attack, witnessed his father’s violence. Investigators revealed that Gill seized the boy’s phone and forced him to sit beside his mother, continuing the assault in their presence. The horrifying ordeal lasted over an hour, with both the wife and son being held at gunpoint until they managed to flee to a neighbor’s house for safety.
