Bitter cold temperatures are expected for Sunday’s 5:30 p.m. game, which could work in Chicago’s favor.

“I think the cold weather helps us a little bit,” Bears fan Edgar Argueta said. “Depends how they play too.”

“I don’t know,” Bears fan Matt Rendina said. “They play all over the country…maybe their heat won’t work like the last Packers game. Maybe we’ll have that advantage”

The Bears are no stranger playing in the cold, wind, and snow, but the Rams have not played a game in below freezing temps since 2022.

With fans flocking to buy game tickets, the Better Business Bureau is urging people to keep an eye out for scams.

“Consumers have to realize they should only buy from a licensed ticket broker only or the Chicago Bears directly,” Steve Bernas, BBB Chicago president and CEO, said. “Anything else you could end up buying bad tickets from a scammer and in some way losing money.”

The BBB also recommends you:

-Only deal with secure websites that begin with “HTTPS” and have a lock symbol in the address bar”

-Beware of counterfeit tickets with forged barcodes

-Always use a credit card, so you have some protection if tickers are not as promised.

“If you use Cash app you don’t have the same protection you do on a credit cars so you can kiss the money goodbye if you send it out,” Bernas said. “So people think well the banks will take care of me. They don’t unfortunately.”

Whether you plan on coming out to the game, or watching it from the comfort of your home, one thing for sure is the Cardiac Bears will keep fans on their toes.

The LA Rams will be coming to Soldier Field with 13 wins, that’s one more win than the Bears, but the Bears don’t seem too worried about that.

“Don’t let us down,” Rendina said. “We are going to make it all way this year. That’s the plan.”
