The Cook County State’s Attorney’s Office issued a statement, saying, “The CCSAO has not been contacted by law enforcement to review this case for criminal charges. As in every case, prosecutors must evaluate all of the available evidence and consider the applicable laws to determine whether we can meet the legal standard for bringing criminal charges.
