UPDATE: Charlie Kirk Has Died

Tyler Bowyer, the Chief Operating Officer of Turning Point USA, disclosed the number of death threats received by the organization following the reemergence of a striking video. In this video, Charlie Kirk shared his greatest fear and the surprising identity of the Congress member he was conversing with, which seems almost surreal.

On Thursday, Bowyer reacted to a previously circulating video labeled from earlier this year, featuring the late (a term that feels uncomfortable to use for Kirk) founder of Turning Point USA. In the clip, Kirk, seated for “The Charlie Kirk Show,” expressed his fear concerning the shooting or potential killing of a right-wing individual.

What seems even more astonishing than his subsequent words is realizing that the screen displayed him conversing with a Senator. Of all imaginable individuals and venues, he was addressing Republican Senator Mike Lee from Utah.

In the clip, Kirk stated, “My fear, Senator [Lee], and I hope I’m wrong—let’s pray that I’m wrong—is that someone may get shot the same way [House Majority Leader] Steve Scalise (R-LA) was shot, or, God forbid, killed.”

He further added, “The left is shaping a pressure cooker with their numerous paramilitary factions, potentially leading to one of us getting shot or killed. God forbid that occurs.”

“We are getting death threats every single day here on ‘The Charlie Kirk Show,'” Kirk continued.

Bowyer not only reshared the post confirming it was real, but he also responded to the amount of threat they were facing.

“We’ve received thousands [and] thousands of death threats,” the COO of TPUSA wrote. “Charlie never complained about them or lived in fear.”

“Our security team, collaborating with authorities, has prevented numerous serious threats. Yet, he was relentless,” he continued. “He faced malevolence head-on and sought to win them over.”

Did he have a premonition about someone trying to kill him, or was he just a person who was very clued into the culture, and he knew how dangerous it was every time he went out on college campuses to dispel the lies the left had fed the students?

Charlie not only seemed to be keenly aware of what could be his fate, but he was also the first person I can recall to ever warn about something called assassination culture spreading on the left.

He made a post on April 7 about a disturbing study.

It’s all just heartbreaking how true those warnings became.
