In Tuscaloosa County, Alabama, investigators from the Tuscaloosa Violent Crimes Unit (TVCU) suspect that a man’s death was a result of foul play, and they are actively searching for a person of interest in connection with the case.
Captain Jack Kennedy of the TVCU reported that deputies from Tuscaloosa County were dispatched around 1 a.m. on Monday to investigate a suspicious situation on Old Fayette Road near its intersection with Highway 43 North. Upon arrival, law enforcement discovered a deceased man at an abandoned house.
The TVCU immediately launched an investigation and determined that the circumstances surrounding the man’s death suggested foul play was involved. Throughout Monday, Tuscaloosa County authorities meticulously processed the scene and scoured the surrounding area for clues.
