When they arrived, they found Taylor in the garage.

A security guard was trying to help him.

Taylor was taken to Loyola hospital, where he died, officials said.

There is no threat to the public, as officials believe the shooting was the result of a personal dispute.

The alleged shooter fled the scene, officials said.

Video of the facility Thursday morning showed a large police response. Employees were seen gathered outside, as well.

An Amazon shared a statement Thursday evening, saying “This is a senseless tragedy. Our thoughts are with our employee’s family, friends, and our team at our Melrose Park delivery station. Right now, our priority is supporting them. The delivery station has been deemed safe, and we’ve added additional security. We’re supporting police as they investigate and defer to them for further details.”
