On Saturday, an unexpected floor collapse at a wedding venue in New Hampshire led to injuries for at least six individuals.
The incident occurred at The Preserve at Chocorua in Tamworth, prompting an investigation by the New Hampshire State Fire Marshal’s Office.
Authorities reported that six people sustained injuries, though fortunately, none were life-threatening, and all were transported to nearby hospitals for treatment.
Thankfully, the incident did not result in any fatalities, as confirmed by the fire marshal’s office.
The response to the scene was swift, with several fire departments arriving, and the road leading to the venue was temporarily shut down, as noted by the Tamworth Police Department.
According to a representative from Maine Health, three of the injured individuals were taken to the hospital via ambulance, while others were directed to different medical facilities, as reported by local news outlet WMUR.
It is unclear what led to the alleged collapse.
The state fire marshal’s office assumed lead of the investigation, which remains active and ongoing.
