President Trump Unloads on James Comey After '86 47' Incident: 'He's a Dirty Cop'

The “rocks on the beach” incident involving James Comey continues to develop, and President Trump has issued a strong statement about it. During an interview with Bret Baier on Fox News, the president articulated what many believe: Comey was fully aware of his actions.

And, in typical Trump fashion, the president had some pointed things to say about Comey’s career.

The interview:

President Trump:

President Trump, we should remember, knows a thing or two about assassination attempts, so, understandably, he’s a bit tetchy on the topic.

Upon examining the situation, serious doubts arise regarding Comey’s assertion that he stumbled upon these rocks by accident on this beach. This explanation seems far-fetched to dismiss as mere coincidence. It is widely recognized that Comey harbors ill feelings toward President Trump, and the most forgiving interpretation is that he attempted a trivial stunt through an Instagram account seemingly designed to promote his book. He appeared to target the audience most likely to engage with his content; he probably arranged the rocks for this purpose, although there’s no concrete evidence to confirm this.

But, as you will have noted from our previous coverage (links below) the FBI and the Secret Service will be speaking with him about it.
