Amazon Prime offers holiday gas deal: How to redeem the perk

Amazon is bringing some relief to its Prime members with a special gas discount available every Friday through the end of the year.

In an enticing offer for its subscribers, Amazon Prime is granting a 25-cent-per-gallon discount at BP, Amoco, and ampm gas stations. This initiative started last Friday and will run until December 26. To take advantage of the savings, Prime members must link their Amazon accounts to the Earnify program.

Amazon has confirmed that this discount applies to all fuel grades and does not impose any limits on the number of gallons purchased. To locate participating stations, drivers can utilize the Earnify app, ensuring easy access to this benefit.

This promotion is part of a strategic partnership between Amazon and BP’s Earnify loyalty program, strategically timed to coincide with the upcoming holiday season.

To redeem this benefit, Prime members need to connect their membership to Earnify. Once linked, they can simply enter their phone number at the pump, use the Earnify app, or pay with the method associated with their Amazon account.

Amazon Prime gas deal: How to get 25 cents off the gallon each Friday

To redeem the perk, Prime members must link their membership to Earnify, BP’s loyalty program, to get the deal. Then, enter your phone number at the pump of any participating gas station, use the Earnify app or use the payment method linked to the Amazon account used to sign up.

The deal is eligible at 7,500 Amoco, BP and ampm gas stations nationwide, according to Amazon.

Even after the promotion ends, Prime members who link their accounts will continue to get 10 cents off per gallon at eligible stations. Prime membership costs $14.99 a month or $139 annually.

The Earnify app, which replaces BP’s previous rewards platform, can also help members find nearby participating stations and earn ongoing fuel and in-store discounts. The app is not required to redeem the offer.
