Yungblud cancels remaining 2025 shows due to health issue

Yungblud has made the difficult decision to cancel the remaining dates of his world tour due to pressing health concerns. In a heartfelt message to fans, he promised full ticket refunds and expressed his commitment to “making it up” to them in the future.

Dominic Richard Harrison, the British artist known as Yungblud, was in the middle of his “Idols: The World Tour” when he announced the cancellation. The decision, he disclosed in a social media post this past Saturday, was prompted by a health issue that requires immediate attention.

“I have a tendency to push myself to the limit for the sake of music and for my fans, but I’ve been advised that I need to take these health concerns seriously,” Harrison wrote candidly. He emphasized the importance of following his doctor’s orders to avoid any long-term harm.

Yungblud, celebrated for his unique fusion of alternative rock and known for his memorable performance alongside Aerosmith’s Steven Tyler at the 2025 VMAs, also withdrew from Limp Bizkit’s upcoming “Loserville” tour in Latin America due to the same health reasons.

While he refrained from going into specifics about his condition, Harrison revealed that voice and blood tests had raised red flags, prompting his healthcare team to recommend a break for the rest of the year.

“I’m determined not to cause any lasting damage,” he assured his followers. “This journey is one I want to continue for a long time, and as hard as this decision is, I promise to make it up to you all.”

Earlier this year, Harrison stepped away from playing a show in Liverpool, England due to tonsillitis. To make it up to fans, he “put some money behind the bar” in Liverpool for concert ticket holders to get free drinks.

“I’m so sad I can’t be there but at least you can be together and celebrate each other, as that’s what Yungblud is all about,” he wrote in a now expired social media post. “I love you. Again, I’m truly sorry.”

The rest of the now canceled tour dates for the year are as follows:

  • Nov. 19, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania
  • Nov. 23, Cleveland, Ohio
  • Nov. 25, Washington D.C.
  • Nov. 26, Washington D.C.

All tickets will be refunded and Harrison says his “heart is broken” by the decision. He also said he will send ticketholders a gift if they input their address when their ticket is refunded.

“I never take anyone’s love, support or energy for granted. You know you are everything to me. But I need this time,” he wrote. “USA I will see you next year. Mexico and (Latin America), we are already looking into my own shows down there that will be more affordable for next year too. It’s gonna be unbelievable. I can’t wait.”

Harrison is nominated three times at the upcoming Grammys for Best Rock Album for his fourth studio album “IDOLS,”  Best Rock Song for his single “Zombie,” and Best Rock Performance for his rendition of Black Sabbath’s “Changes” live at Villa Park.
