Welcome to your sanctuary city.
The White House has rolled out a playful new website, “Aliens.gov,” on Thursday, aiming to provide information on illegal migrant apprehensions rather than delve into UFO secrets.
The intriguing domain name ignited a wave of online curiosity after the government registered it in March, shortly following President Trump’s promise to release confidential UFO and extraterrestrial-related files.
Featuring a green banner at the top, the website embraces the current UFO craze with the phrase, “They walk among us,” styled in a hacker-like design.
Below the banner, text gradually appears, stating, “For 60 years, the US government has kept a closely guarded secret,” capturing attention with its mysterious tone. “Aliens have been walking among us, living in our neighborhoods, and interacting with us in our daily lives.”
The text continues, “They’ve shopped in the same stores, attended the same classes as our children, and lived seemingly normal human existences. With one exception — they do not belong here.”
Below the text is a live ticker counting federal law enforcement “encounters” with illegal migrants, and a heat map tracking Immigration and Custom Enforcement’s (ICE) “alien arrests.”
Users can zoom in on different cities and states on the map to get a better picture of the migrants being arrested.
The website highlights the total arrests, dates of arrest, criminal charges, countries of origin and suspected gang affiliations of migrants taken into custody by ICE under Trump.
A large red link to an ICE tip line at the bottom of the page encourages users to “report suspicious aliens.”
The website accuses “countless presidents, congressmen, and senior officials” of covering up the “invasion.”
Meanwhile, Trump is credited as the “one man [who] finally had the courage to tell the truth.”
“President Trump was the first to call out the real danger Aliens pose to every American family, every community, and the future of our nation,” the website states.
“The truth is no longer out there. It is right here. Right now.”
