Robson Donato Conceicao, born in Salvador, Brazil, is a Brazilian boxer. He is a professional boxer who won his country’s first Olympic Gold Medal in boxing.

At the age of 33, he has already proven himself to be a champion as an athlete.

Robson Conceicao is estimated to have a net worth of more than $600,000 in 2022. He makes his earnings by his professional contracts and matches fees along with brand endorsements. 

The 33-year-old champion has a professional contract with Top Rank and while his exact salary is unknown, fans estimate that he gets above $500,000 per year as a salary, which includes his match fees. 

The Olympic gold-winning Brazilian boxer has remained undefeated for the majority of his professional career, which has increased his brand value immensely. His net income and value are also added by his brand endorsements and other fees. 

Robson Conceicao: Career Details of the Brazilian Boxer

Robson Conceicao began his professional career in 2008, when he qualified for the Summer Olympics.

He did not turn professional and instead went on to qualify for and compete in the 2016 Olympics. He became the first Brazilian boxer in history to win a gold medal for his country at that event.

After 2016, he signed a professional contract with Top Rank and has a more than 5-year professional career in which he has played 17 matches and won 16 of them.

He is also known as ‘undefeated,’ and he has built his career on wins and prizes for a boy who began boxing to protect himself from bullies and street fights.

He will face the unbeaten Xavier Martinez in a WBC super-featherweight title eliminator in the near future, which will be a watershed moment in his career. This event is set to take place on January 29, 2022.

 Is The Boxer Married To Erika Matos?

Robson Conceicao and his wife Erika Matos have been married since they have tied the knot in 2013.

The athlete’s wife is also a fellow boxer who specializes in amateur boxing of the 51 kg category. He proposed to Erika, who was then his girlfriend, in 2012 after winning a silver medal in the Pan American Games.

 

His wife has many achievements under her belt, including first place in Brazilian Women’s National Championships back in 2013. However, she took a break from her career once their daughter was born.

Family Details of Robson Conceicao Brazilian Boxer

Robson Conceicao currently has his own family made up of his wife Erika Matos and two beautiful daughters. 

The boxer frequently shares the picture of his lovely family through his Instagram @robson60. 

Before becoming a champion, Robson belonged to a poor family in Salvador. He was the son of a single mother and was taken care of by his grandmother during his childhood. 

Robson has been open about his family’s struggle in his young days, stating how he had to walk 9 km every day to go to his academy because his family couldn’t afford bus money. He took up odd jobs at a young age, including being an ice cream seller and a kitchen helper, before starting boxing.
