Although she was born in the aforementioned city, she actually grew up in Signal Mountain, Tennessee. There is thus far not enough information to address the identities of her parents, while the media sources state that she has two brothers – Brian, who is a geologist, and Andrew who is known to have studied at Harvard University. Not much is known about her early youth, but she was Miss Teen Tennessee and one of the top ten Miss Teens USA in 1999. In the same year, she managed to climb another step towards stardom, by obtaining a 57-episode-long role as Beth Mason in “American Dreams”, in which she remained until the end of the show in 2005. In the same year, she landed another three roles, and seven additional roles in 2006 and three in 2007, by which time Rachel had accumulated enough recognition to land another recurring role, this time in “The Ex- List”, which ran from 2008 to 2009, featuring her in the second most important role of Daphne Bloom during all 13 episodes, including the pilot. She then had some lesser roles prior to 2011, when she was cast in 16 episodes of “In Plain Sight”. Ultimately, her last important role to date was in “Witches of East End”, featuring as Ingrid Beauchamp in 23 episodes of the show. At the moment, she is being credited for a movie that’s yet to be released.
