The first few Fulton County mugshots in the case of Donald Trump’s attempts to overturn the 2020 election were shared this week.
Former Georgia State Senator David Shafer, the third known turn-in, proudly announced Wednesday morning that his mugshot is his ‘new profile picture.’
It’s the third turn-over in the 41-count charge against Trump and his 18 co-defendants in the fourth and latest indictment against the ex-President related to his scheme to overturn the 2020 election results.
Shafer had his mugshot taken after Trump attorney John Eastman and Atlanta bail bondsman and poll watcher Scott Hall became the first two co-defendants to turn themselves in at Fulton County jail.

Schafer was the third known co-defendant to turn himself in after Republican poll watcher Scott Hall (left) became the first this week, followed by attorney John Eastman (right). Above are their mugshots from Fulton County jail
‘Good morning! #NewProfilePicture,’ Schafer wrote on Twitter, now known as X, along with the image of his highly overexposed mugshot.
Trump attorney Rudy Giuliani is now on his way to turn himself over in Georgia.

Fulton County District Attorney Fani Willis gave Trump and co-defendants until noon on Friday, August 25, to voluntarily turn themselves over for booking and arraignment.
The Sheriff there also suggested that the four-times indictment ex-President could finally have his first mugshot taken during booking after avoiding this embarrassment in his last three arraignments.
Trump plans to turn himself in on Thursday – the day after skipping out on the first Republican presidential debate in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. Some speculated he might try and take away attention from the debate by turning himself in on Wednesday.
