2026 NFL schedule leaks and rumors: Here's a running list of every known game ahead of full May 14 release

The official unveiling of the 2026 NFL schedule is set for 8 p.m. ET on Thursday. However, fans likely won’t need to wait that long to get a glimpse of the full lineup, as game details often surface ahead of the formal announcement.

As the week unfolds, the NFL’s broadcast partners are gradually releasing information about certain marquee matchups they will be airing. This rollout began on Monday when NBC announced that the New York Giants will host the Dallas Cowboys for the season’s first Sunday night game.

The Dallas Cowboys were featured in two announcements on Monday. Fox disclosed that the Cowboys will face off against the Philadelphia Eagles on Thanksgiving Day, set for Week 12.

In another highlight, the Cowboys will participate in the NFL’s inaugural game in Rio De Janeiro. This game, slated for Week 3, will be broadcast by CBS. This encounter is part of a historic lineup of nine international games scheduled for 2026.

Throughout the week, details about these international matchups have emerged, even before the NFL’s formal confirmation. NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell noted that the final schedule was only approved on Tuesday afternoon, contributing to the slower trickle of leaks earlier in the week.

Thursday promises to be a bustling day for schedule leaks. To help fans keep track, we will maintain an updated list of both officially announced and leaked games, ensuring you don’t miss any details as they emerge.

With that in mind, let’s get to our list (And as a quick note, if a week on the schedule isn’t listed below, it’s because we don’t have any information or leaks on that week just yet. For instance, you’ll notice that Week 13 isn’t listed, but that doesn’t mean Week 13 has been canceled, it just means we don’t have anything to put there yet).
