Jose Mourinho looks set to end his successful stint in Serie A with Roma when his contract expires at the end of the season.

Mourinho has enjoyed a career renaissance after making a suprise return to Italy and won the inaugural Europa Conference League before reaching the final of the Europa League last term.

However, Roma have failed to qualify for the Champions League during his time and have made a poor start to the current campaign with the side sitting in 10th place after eight games.

‘There are no negotiations ongoing, there have never been.’ He said. ‘So they’ll part company at the end of the deal in June.’

The former Chelsea and Manchester United boss was courted last summer by Al-Hilal in the Saudi Pro League but opted to stau with the Giallorossi following their heartbreaking Europa League defeat.

Interest from the country is expected to return with one report claiming a mystery Pro League side is ready to offer him a staggering two-year £104million contract.

Earlier this month Mourinho stated his desire to manage in the Gulf State, saying: ‘I am focused on Roma and I will give my all until the last day I am here. Nobody knows the future, but I am convinced I will coach in Saudi Arabia one day.

‘I don’t know when, but I am quite sure it’s something I’ll surely do.’
