Manchester United are reportedly keen on Galatasaray right-back Sacha Boey.

Boey is being monitored by multiple other Premier League clubs, including Arsenal, Brighton, and Burnley.

The 23-year-old has established himself as Galatasaray’s leading right-back over the past couple of years and is gaining Champions League experience after last year’s title triumph.

Various Turkish outlets such as Takvim and Fotospor have documented the growing interest of English clubs in the defender, whose contract expires in 2025.

Boey made his debut for Rennes in 2019 and made the move to Istanbul in 2021 before going out on loan to Dijon in Ligue 1.

While he has represented France at youth level, he has also been included in preliminary Cameroon senior squads in the past.

Didier Deschamps said he was considering Boey for the senior French set-up. ‘We’re following Sacha Boey. There will be competition in this area. We have a lot of top players. But we are open to new choices.’

He played for Galatasaray in their recent 3-2 win at Old Trafford, picking up a yellow card for a foul on Sofyan Amrabat, and scored against Copenhagen.

Sporx reports that clubs could either make a move for him in January or the summer.

Full-back has been a problem position for United this year, as Tyrell Malacia, Luke Shaw, Sergio Reguilon, and Aaron Wan-Bissaka have all been injured.

Reguilon himself was drafted in on loan as emergency cover from Tottenham and United were also looking at Marc Cucurella, Marcos Alonso, and Nicolas Taglafico.
