New Investigation Into Autopen Scandal Spells Big Trouble for the Biden Team

As we mentioned earlier, former senior advisor to Biden, Anita Dunn, was under scrutiny in a closed-door testimony before the House Oversight Committee as they investigated Joe Biden’s cognitive capabilities and the autopen affair.

While she didn’t speak to the press before or after her testimony, her opening statement was made public. In it, she admitted that although Biden had “aged physically,” he remained “fully engaged.” This statement is somewhat undermined by her dubious claim that Biden was “appropriately accessible to the press” and even suggested that he had more informal “interactions” with the media than nearly every other president since Ronald Reagan.

She sidestepped questions about whether she opposed cognitive tests or was “disloyal” to the Bidens. Hunter Biden notably criticized her during a recent interview, hinting that their relationship might be strained.
