Acer’s Swift Go 16 is a lot of laptop for $900

With memory and storage costs pushing prices higher across everything from game consoles to PCs, landing a capable laptop below $1,000 is getting harder. That makes the Acer Swift Go 16 AI deal at Best Buy especially appealing: it’s currently marked down to $899.99 from its standard $1,549.99 price. For the money, the configuration is strong, featuring an Intel Core Ultra 7 355 processor, 32GB of LPDDR5X RAM, and a 1TB SSD. It also includes a sharp 16-inch OLED touchscreen with a 1,920 x 1,200 resolution, while the taller 16:10 display gives you extra vertical workspace. A 180-degree hinge adds more flexibility, making it easier to set the screen at the angle you prefer.

A large multi-touch trackpad topped with Corning Gorilla Glass adds to the premium feel, and the backlit keyboard even manages to include a numeric keypad. Its integrated Intel graphics won’t satisfy demanding gamers, but it should easily handle lighter titles like Balatro. Battery life is another highlight, with the laptop capable of lasting more than 20 hours on one charge, though that will vary based on screen brightness. Connectivity is also better than you might expect from a slim machine, with two USB-A 3.2 ports, two USB-C ports with Thunderbolt 4, HDMI 2.1, a microSD card reader, and a 3.5mm headphone jack.
