Xavier Trudeau, the eldest son of former Canadian prime minister Justin Trudeau, is in a relationship with model and influencer Pariya Carello, a social media personality with more than 1.2 million followers.
Carello, 19, first made the relationship public in August 2025, when she revealed she was dating Xavier, 18.
At the time, she posted a photo to her Instagram Stories showing the pair looking close together.
Since then, the couple have appeared comfortable sharing their romance online, frequently posting pictures together and offering followers affectionate glimpses of their time as a pair.
That has prompted growing interest in the young influencer who appears to have captured Xavier’s attention.
Carello has built a sizable audience on TikTok, where she shares dance clips, lip-sync videos and fashion-focused content with her more than 1.2 million followers.
On Instagram, she constantly documents her very glamorous lifestyle and has racked up more than 381,000 followers.
Carello’s feed consists of images that show her lounging by the pool, soaking up the sun on the beach, riding on a jet ski and partying on a yacht, amongst other things.

She often jets off on lavish getaways and has traveled to the Bahamas and St Barts in the past few months.
It appears as though she attended Western University in Ontario, Canada, as she posted many pictures on campus there last year, but it’s unclear if she’s still going to the school.
In addition to being a popular social media star, Carello has also dabbled in modeling and participated in the Moxy Swim runway show during Miami Swim Week in October and once again last month.
As for Xavier, who is the oldest of the three kids that Trudeau shares with his ex Sophie Grégoire, he is a budding musician and released his own EP last year under the name Xav.
He is also pursuing a career in modeling and recently posed in a campaign for the clothing brand Raimundo Langlois.
He told GQ earlier this month that he knew from an early age that he had no intention of following in his father’s footsteps and entering the world of politics.
‘But I did feel pressured. I think that’s why I wanted to do something totally different and obviously change people’s lives, but in my own way,’ the budding star said.
‘Building a new name for myself and being my own man was a super important thing because people knew me as Trudeau’s kid, and that’s slowly changing. I want to be known as Xav.’

The aspiring rapper was forced to defend his music last week after it was revealed that he would be headlining Ottawa’s Shawarma Festival – and the announcement was met with fierce backlash.
While speaking with Vulture afterwards, Xav defended his choice to pursue a career in entertainment and urged listeners not to be discouraged if they dislike his father’s politics.
‘If they don’t like my dad, right away, they don’t like me,’ he said. ‘If you don’t like me because you don’t like my music, and you think it’s the worst thing in the world? OK, fine. I’ll live with that. But when you don’t even give it a shot? I can’t respect that.’
Xav coincidentally dropped his first single, ‘Til the Nights Done, a few weeks after Trudeau made international headlines for resigning as Canada’s prime minister.
The young rapper denied that the decision was calculated, telling Vulture that the song had already been pitched to Spotify and was scheduled to come out before Trudeau announced his resignation.
‘It has its benefits, and it has its negatives, like anything has,’ he added of his father, who has since moved on with Katy Perry, being in the spotlight.

‘You could be the son of a lawyer and have challenges that you’d have to go through. Obviously, mine’s a little bit more specific, but I definitely think it’s a benefit.’
Xav also revealed that he wanted to pursue music to get out of his father’s shadow, telling the publication, ‘I wanted to be my own man. I was tired of being ‘Trudeau’s kid.’ So I started being like, ‘OK, it’s your time. Start something.”
Xav said Perry has been ‘super supportive’ of his music. He added that, unlike his father, he is not a ‘very political person’ but is open to eventually using his music to express his opinions.
In addition to his EP, Xav has five singles out. He has 6,290 monthly listeners on Spotify and his most-streamed song is Til the Nights Done, with over 153,000 streams.
