Three people were injured during a school shooting in Kansas, including the suspect.

Olathe East High School was placed on lockdown Friday morning after a school resource officer and school administrator were both shot and injured.

The Olathe Police Department said during a Friday afternoon press conference that the suspect, a student at the school, was shot by the school resource officer and taken into custody.

The two victims were released from the hospital later Friday, KMBC reported. The names of the victims and the suspect have not been released.

“If your loved one was injured, you would have already been contacted by the police department,” the school district said in a tweet. The district later arranged for students to be picked up by their families.

This story has been updated to add details about the shooting, including the suspect’s injury.
