BRISTOL, Tenn. (WJHL) — The Sullivan County Sheriff’s Office (SCSO) responded to a reported shooting in the Bristol area on Saturday.
According to Captain Andy Seabolt, a call came in at 1:56 p.m. from a residence on Cedar Lane with a report of shots being fired from a vehicle.
At 7:59 p.m., the SCSO provided an update stating that a known suspect, Robert Lee Farmer, 43, residing on Cedar Lane, had discharged multiple rounds from a handgun before departing the area.
The SCSO is searching for Farmer. Anyone with information on his whereabouts is asked to contact the sheriff’s office at 423-279-7330.
The SCSO said Farmer is most likely still armed and should not be approached.
Farmer is facing charges including four counts of attempted second-degree murder, reckless endangerment, and possession of a handgun as a felon.
