FOX News star Kat Timpf has dazzled fans with her triumphant return to TV after having her first baby and battling cancer.

The 36-year-old comedian and writer joined friend and cohost Greg Gutfeld for the new Fox Nation show, What Did I Miss.

Timpf has teamed up with Jamie Lissow on the panel for the program hosted by Gutfeld, where participants who lived in total seclusion from January 20 to April 13 are quizzed.

During their isolation in Upstate New York, they were stripped of any connection to the outside world, including social media and television.

With $50,000 at stake, the team is tasked with identifying which Trump-era headlines are genuine and which are fabricated, and Timpf’s role is to either guide them correctly or mislead them.

Timpf’s appearance on Gutfeld’s latest show is her first time back on the network since going on maternity leave in February.

The Fox News host rocked a red outfit with her signature glasses and hair pulled back into a ponytail.

During their on-air banter, Gutfeld joked that her baby’s name is “just a shrug emoji,” as Timpf laughed in response.

Turning to her after introducing Lissow, Gutfeld said: “Kat, you’ve been kinda away for 90 days. What’ve you been up to?”

“I had a baby and I beat cancer. All in two months,” Timpf said.

Back in February, Timpf said that she had been diagnosed with Stage 0 breast cancer just hours before going into labor.

“Last week, I welcomed my first child into the world,” she wrote on social media at the time.

“About fifteen hours before I went into labor, I was diagnosed with breast cancer.”

The post, titled “An Unconventional Birth Announcement,” confirmed the cancer was caught early and had not spread.

“My doctor said I’m at Stage 0, which means it most likely hasn’t spread,” she shared.

Gutfeld Dominates Late Night

Gutfeld! (10-11 PM/ET) just posted its highest-rated quarter in the show’s four-year run.

The Fox News program drew 3.3 million total viewers, including:

  • 453,000 in the 25-54 demo
  • 287,000 in the 18-49 demo

The show beat all broadcast and cable late-night rivals, including:

  • The Late Show with Stephen Colbert
  • Jimmy Kimmel Live!
  • The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon
  • Late Night with Seth Meyers
  • After Midnight
  • The Daily Show with Jon Stewart

Gutfeld also co-hosts The Five (5-6 PM/ET), cable’s top-rated program, averaging 4.6 million viewers in Q1 2025.

The show has led all cable programs for 14 straight quarters.

The show features a lineup including Gutfeld, Harold Ford Jr., Dana Perino, Jeanine Pirro, Jessica Tarlov, and Jesse Watters and is celebrated for its rapid, opinionated style.

“I’m lucky that we found the cancer so early; I’m lucky to be my son’s mom.”

“I mean, I know I’m biased, but the little dude absolutely rules – and not just because he might have saved my life,” she added.

Timpf later underwent a double mastectomy and shared candid updates from her hospital room in her trademark sarcastic tone.

FANS GUSH

Her return to TV prompted an outpouring of love from fans, many of whom flooded her comments with praise.

“Kat, you look amazing. You’re an inspiration to so many,” one wrote.

“Just started watching What Did I Miss but had to stop to say how great it is to see you again Kat!!” added another.

“Can’t wait to watch! So great to see you doing great!”

“It will be so good to see you Kat!! My husband and I have really missed you on Gutfeld!”

“I’ll watch, but I rather have you back on Gutfeld. You make me happy,” another fan said.

SHOW PREMIERE

The show’s first episode dropped on May 12, with the remaining two episodes streaming May 13 and 14.

Fox Nation President Lauren Petterson said the series was designed to catch people up on the “unprecedented news cycle” they missed.

“For these four contestants to learn what really happened while they were living in isolation, they’ll have to get through me first. Lucky them,” Gutfeld added.

The first of three episodes of “Greg Gutfeld’s What Did I Miss?” premiered on Fox Nation today, May 12th, followed by episodes two and three dropping on May 13th & 14th, respectively.
