OKLAHOMA CITY (KFOR) Agents with the Oklahoma Bureau of Narcotics (OBN) Human Trafficking Unit arrested a suspect accused of trafficking a juvenile, maintaining a house of prostitution, and child neglect.

According to OBN, on Monday, May 19, their Human Trafficking Unit found an online commercial sex advertisement, which contained images of a juvenile female through the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC).

Agents with OBN were able to find evidence within the advertisement that indicated that there was a second potential victim.

During the investigation, agents identified 23-year-old Jakitra Watson as the person who promoted and facilitated the commercial sex trafficking of the juvenile, according to OBN.

Undercover agents then responded to the advertisement before tracking down the juvenile inside a southwest Oklahoma City hotel room.

“OBN Agents tracked down a [separate] room at the hotel where Jakitra Watson was located, along with a one-year-old and a two-month-old baby. Inside the room, Agents also found Marijuana that was easily accessible to the children. The Oklahoma Department Human Services (DHS) was immediately contacted to respond,” said Mark Woodward, spokesperson for the Oklahoma Bureau of Narcotics.

OBN says the juvenile victim and small children were released to DHS for custody.

Watson was arrested for alleged human trafficking of a minor, maintaining a house of prostitution, and child neglect.
