A TWISTED high school teacher who allegedly had sex with a teen boy made a shocking confession regarding her relationship with him.

Darian Chrisitne Rogers, 22, admitted to sleeping with a 17-year-old whom she described as a “little brother” to her.

Rogers first encountered her alleged victim while they were both employed at a grocery store before she pursued a role as a student teacher at Rouse High School in Leander, Texas.

A high school student informed law enforcement that Rogers was “involved in sexual relationships with multiple co-workers from H-E-B who were also students within Leander ISD,” as reported by local Fox affiliate KTBC.

The student also sent police an alleged voicemail from the student teacher where she mentions sending sexually explicit photos to the minor.

When police interviewed the alleged victim, he first denied the relationship between him and the teacher.

The student then allowed detectives to read through his text messages with Rogers.

As investigators read through the text messages, they discovered conversations about the Plan B contraceptive.

With the new information, the officers asked the student again if he had a relationship with the teacher.

After being asked a second time, the student confirmed the alleged relationship.

Like the alleged victim, Rogers denied her relationship with the student.

Nonetheless, after police presented text messages found on the student’s phone, Rogers confessed to having slept with the teen “one time” in his truck near their place of work.

Female teacher, 27, had ‘sex with student in classroom’ hours before arrest as ‘8-month relationship’ exposed

The student teacher allowed investigators to search her phone, where they found messages between Rogers and the student from before she began teaching at his high school.

In the alleged text messages, Rogers asked the 17-year-old to avoid making “inappropriate comments” in front of the school staff while she was interviewing for a position.

Officers also discovered an alleged thread of texts between Rogers and a friend where she details sleeping with another Leander student.

Rogers was arrested on May 16 and charged with second-degree felony improper relationship between an educator and a student.

She was released on a $20,000 bond on May 17.

Rouse High School Principal Vincent Hawkins sent out an email to the community reinforcing the fact that “safety and well-being” is the school’s top priority.

Statement from the principal:

Dear Rouse High School families,

At Rouse High School, our students’ safety and well-being are always our top priority. I’d like to share information with you that may impact our school community.

On Wednesday, April 9, Leander ISD was informed that authorities had received a report of an inappropriate relationship involving a student and a student-teacher. While this individual briefly completed student-teaching hours on our campus earlier this spring, we want to be clear: the alleged misconduct did not occur at school, during school hours, or at any school-sponsored event.

The individual was not a Leander ISD or Rouse High School employee and was immediately removed from campus once the district was made aware of the situation. District administration promptly notified both the individual’s university program and the Texas Education Agency (TEA) and has fully cooperated with law enforcement throughout the investigation.

Following the investigation, the Leander Police Department issued an arrest warrant and charges were filed against Darian Rogers. Because Rouse High School was mentioned in the police report, we felt it was important to address the situation directly with our school community. Any accusations of misconduct did not happen on our campus, during school hours, or at any school-sponsored event.

We hold all individuals working with our students to high standards of conduct and accountability. If you have questions or concerns, please contact me. Thank you for your continued support of Rouse High School.
