The FBI and Chicago police are searching the Albany Park residence of Elias Rodriguez, a 30-year-old suspect linked to a double homicide outside an event at the Capital Jewish Museum in Washington, D.C. on Wednesday.

Investigators have descended on the Chicago home of a 30-year-old activist accused of killing two Israeli embassy personnel in front of a Jewish museum in Washington, D.C. This action occurs a day post-incident, as the FBI aims to confirm the validity of an alleged antisemitic “manifesto” circulating online.

Agents and officers in tactical gear, carrying rifles and at least one ballistic shield, were seen swarming the brick building around 9 a.m.

Elias Rodriguez is accused of lurking outside an event at the museum and then opening fire on two people as they were leaving.
