Several international carriers have also cancelled, delayed, or redirected flights as tensions flare between Israel and Iran.

In recent days, the U.S began reducing diplomats and staffers not deemed essential in the Middle east due to potential unrest.

Brigadier General Effie Defrin, spokesperson for the Israel Defense Forces, stated that “Iran has sent about 100 UAVs towards Israeli land, and we are currently intercepting them.”

Israel says it is planning to use its air defenses to intercept the drones.

The emergency situation mandates that everyone must remain indoors, resulting in the closure of nearly all businesses, including schools, offices, and supermarkets, as Israeli airspace is shut down.
