Trump Comes Out Swinging Against BBB Opponent Thom Tillis, Meanwhile Murkowski Votes to Advance

One of them is North Carolina GOP Sen. Thom Tillis, and the president just unloaded on him on Truth Social for not supporting the bill:

The post is long (click on it to read it in full), but here are some takeaways:

Senator Thom Tillis seems intent on announcing a 68% Tax Increase to the Nation, rather than celebrating the Largest Tax Cut in American History! …

What America desires is Lower Taxes, including NO TAX ON TIPS, NO TAX ON OVERTIME, AND NO TAX ON SOCIAL SECURITY. People also want Interest Deductions on Cars, strong Border Security, and a Robust Military. There’s a need for a Bill that will be BENEFICIAL for our Farmers, Manufacturers, and Employment overall. Thom Tillis is making a HUGE MISTAKE for America and the Wonderful People of North Carolina!

The president followed up by commenting that maybe it’s time for Tillis to face a primary challenge:

I will be meeting with them over the coming weeks, looking for someone who will properly represent the Great People of North Carolina and, so importantly, the United States of America. Thank you for your attention to this matter!
