Birmingham Police searching for 2 suspects involved in armed robbery

BIRMINGHAM, Ala. (WIAT) — The Birmingham Police Department is seeking assistance from the public to identify two individuals connected to an armed robbery that occurred on July 3.

The BPD reported that officers from the West Precinct responded to a robbery call at the Dollar General on 2413 Warrior Road around 10 p.m. Two armed male suspects had entered the store, stealing about $600. During the incident, the store clerk was shot but suffered non-life-threatening injuries. The suspects escaped after the robbery.
