TPUSA Event: Homan's Feisty Interaction With Protester, Tampa Police Deliver 'Find Out' Message to Driver

Turning Point USA’s 2025 Student Action Summit is being held at the Tampa Convention Center in Florida this weekend.

Among the scheduled speakers are Donald Trump Jr, Secretary of Defense Pete Hegseth, Greg Gutfeld, and Border Czar Tom Homan.

Of course, they attracted some leftist protesters.

While the summit took place indoors on Saturday afternoon, demonstrators gathered outside, chanting slogans like, “No fear, no hate, no ICE in our state,” and “TPD, KKK, ICE – they’re all the same.” […]

The protesters held signs and voiced support for a variety of progressive issues, ranging from concerns about Gaza to opposition against ICE, with chants of, “Say it loud, say it clear, immigrants are welcome here.”

One of the Summit attendees commented on Andy Ngo’s video clip post, “Yes, legal immigrants.”

Some of the attendees of the event also followed the protest marchers, chanting “Mass deportations” and in favor of ICE.

Tom Homan had a moment with an “infiltrator” who managed to get into the event. Homan invited him to come up with whatever picture he had.

At one point, I believe someone was escorted out amid cheers and chants of “USA! USA!” The Border Czar remarked that if the individual was such a “badass,” he was welcome to meet him off-stage in 13 minutes. Homan is known for his straightforward and unfiltered communication.

Then there was the guy who rolled up on the event in his car. He was standing up, sticking out of the driver’s side window, as he yelled at the attendees on the sidewalk. He got out of the car, and came toward the attendees.

He then went after another man. That’s when an older police officer jumped the barrier like an athlete, as the troublemaker tripped and fell. The officer corralled the guy, then wrestled him to the ground. Good on that officer for stopping things from getting more out of hand. Then the police took him into custody as people cheered. I’m thinking that guy is going to wake up tomorrow and realize he did something very dumb.
